New Equipment Announcement: VDO Genealogy Club
Exciting news for all members! The VDO Genealogy Club has officially upgraded our preservation capabilities with two professional-grade scanners now located in the VDO Computer Lab.
Whether you have boxes of loose family photos or fragile bound books, we now have professional tools to help you digitize your family history.
Access Details
Because of the high-value equipment in the room, the lab remains locked, but is available during the following times:
When: Every Thursday, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM (during Genealogy Help)
Availability: Now through March 16th
Who: Open to all VDO Genealogy Club, VDO Technology Club members, and VDO Residents
Our New Scanners
Epson FastFoto FF-680W: Perfect for "speed-scanning" large stacks of photos. It can scan both the front and back (to capture handwritten notes) in seconds!
CZUR ET24 Pro: A specialized overhead scanner designed for bound books and fragile documents. Its "auto-flattening" technology means you can digitize books without damaging the spine.
